Structure of the curriculum

The curriculum of the BA-DCC consists of module groups and modules. In this way, students can obtain parts of the curriculum at various universities. Parts of the curriculum are also offered as virtual courses, creating even greater flexibility.

The curriculum, 180 ECTS in total, consists of the following components:

  • Basis Curriculum ‘'Language, Literature and Culture of the Low Countries' (90 ECTS)
  • the acquisition of a Second Foreign Language spoken in the region (15 ECTS) [form JOINT III]
  • e-learning modules in the field of Language, Culture and Literature (30 ECTS)
  • specific attention to the Central European context, in the fields of history, economics and the European Union (30 ECTS) [form JOINT II]
  • completion in the form of a Vocational Preparatory Project and a Bachelor thesis Vocational Preparatory Project and a Bachelor thesis (15 ECTS)

A few preconditions

  •  

      • The module groups from the first year are followed and completed at the university's own university.
      • At least 30 ECTS are obtained during a semester at one of the partner universities.
      • In each phase of the study a student can also choose subjects from the virtual course offer of the virtual platform DCC.

    Individual universities

    Within the framework of the general curriculum for the BA-DCC, the studies at the various partner universities are filled in differently, based on their own course offerings. Not every university offers the same course at the same time. The courses offered at the various universities, including the course descriptions, can be found in the menu under  'Educational platform DCC/Time table'.
