DCC Doctoral School

The DCC Doctoral School fort he Dutch Literary Studies has been organised as a summer school in Central Europe every two years since 2017. It was initiated by Herbert van Uffelen (from the University of Vienna) in cooperation with a group of teachers from the DCC network. The main aim of the Doctoral School is to strengthen the position and network of young talent from the region by sharing knowledge. This is done by organising thematic summer schools in which PhD students, as well as advanced master's students, can get acquainted with current themes and recent research results of the field of Dutch Literature in an international context and get to know each other and each other's research better in an intellectually stimulating environment. Experienced scholars from various departments in the region are involved in the Doctoral School as lecturers.
